Almost anyone can participate. Sites will be rejected if they promote: sexually explicit material, violence, illegal activities or discrimination based on sex, race, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age. All sites are subject to our approval. There is NO CHARGE required to become an affiliate.

For those who wish to promote any SEAN affiliate programs though creating links on a website, the site must be operational at the time you apply in order for us to consider the application. However, if you wish to promote us via email, newsletters or blogs, that is also allowed. Contact us to discuss.

Affiliates are paid monthly, provided they meet the sales threshold of $25. The commission structure is directly related to the volume of referrals that you make. Each month we take the total amount of merchandize sales you generated and submit to our accounting department for payment.

It depends. If the customer comes from your site and makes a purchase, then returns to our site directly, only the first sale will be recorded. If the customer only comes to our site through the links on your website, then all sales will be recorded and you will be paid a commission for each.

Yes. You can join any or all of the Science and Education Affiliate Network Programs. These include the SK Reading Affiliate Program, SK Math Affiliate Program, Ward's Natural Science Affiliate Program, Sargent-Welch Affiliate Program and Boreal Affiliate Program.

It is possible to become an affiliate if your site is managed outside of the U.S. However, it is imperative that you provide substantial evidence that your website has a sizeable U.S. audience, since only U.S. residents are eligible to become Science Kit Affiliate. If you have a primarily Canadian audience, then we recommend joining the Boreal Affiliate Program.

We provide you with all the links and images to be used on your site. We will work with you to create custom graphic and text links that you believe will draw the attention of your audience. We can also create special landing pages designed specifically for your traffic. You may create your own text and image links but we must approve all before placement. Failure to secure approval prior to posting of said links will be grounds for immediate rejection from the program.
